Connecting research with business

WCTT works at the intersection of university research, innovation and entrepreneurship. Its website needs to serve several audiences at once: companies looking for support, researchers exploring commercialisation and organisations seeking international partners. The project brings these different routes together without treating every visitor as the same kind of customer.

A structure for a large, active institution

The homepage separates technology transfer, international business cooperation, research projects and expert activity. An events calendar and dated news give returning visitors a reason to come back, while dedicated programme pages provide the longer-term context. Nested navigation keeps related resources together, including the Enterprise Europe Network and research-support programmes.

Implementation

My contribution centred on WordPress implementation, responsive templates and structured editorial pages. The interface combines compact navigation, a searchable content base, Polish and English navigation and visible text-size controls. Programme pages use a sidebar and clear headings so readers can move between an overview, supporting information and related resources.
